Come join us as we build our trans community float for the 2017 Houston LGBT Pride Parade!
We will build the float in the St Stephens school parking lot.
We assemble the float in fun the night before Pride. No experience or tools needed just lend a hand! Everyone is welcome to help. This is a family friendly event. Feel free to bring tools, bottled water, step stools, sunblock, bug spray, etc to share.
**The day after the float build is PRIDE! We walk/ride in the parade for those who LOVE the thrill of thousands of people cheering for you and can stay within the Pride guidlines we are HAPPY to have you walk with us! Those who help build the float can ride on the float!
**If you walk with us or would like to just come and help we could always use a hand breaking down the float and returning it for next year.
We know there are many places to be and even a high five and smile is welcome!
